Laughter Club

Laughter puts people in a positive frame of mind and gradually makes them positive thinkers.  It provides a sense of well-being and can be compared to any aerobic exercise. Laughter is one of the finest anti-stress measures.  The effect of laughter on the immune system is considered very significant, with regard to diseases like cancer. Laughter therapy has also helped people with insomnia, depression and anxiety.  Laughter increases the levels of endorphins in the body, which are natural painkillers.

Laughter tones up the muscles of the face and improves facial expressions.  People who laugh look more cheerful and attractive.  Laughter brings people together and improves interpersonal relationships.  It adds to one’s self-confidence and helps to develop the personality and leadership qualities.

People meet for short periods to practice laughter techniques.  It is fun, energetic and a very good form of exercise.
